Tire Application Guide
Select the correct product for your tire size
The size of a tire is printed on the sidewall of every tire.
Most tire sizes will look like this:
P205/70R14
In this example the tire is 205mm wide, has an aspect ratio of 70% and is mounted on a wheel that is 14 inches in diameter (1 inch equals 25.4mm). The "R" in the size denoted that the tire is a radial tire (it is not used in this sizing chart). This tire size will appear in the list as "205/70-14". Light truck tires (ie. LT 235/85R16) will be listed as "LT235/85-16". All these numbers are necessary to find the traction product that will correctly fit your tire.
Although tire size must be known to select a traction product of correct fit for passenger cars, and small pickup owners it is also important to check the vehicle owner's manual for clearance restrictions. The restricted wheel well clearance in most of today's vehicles will require
S.A.E. Class "S" products. SCC winter traction products that meet Class "S" clearances are

Super Z8,
