About SCC

SCC was founded in 1969, and is a division of Burns Bros. Inc. (BBI) whose headquarters are located in Lake Oswego, Oregon. After 36 years as “Security Chain Co.”, we’ve simplified our name to SCC. We’re not just a chain company anymore! In addition to offering a complete line of traction products (both cable and link style), SCC’s product mix includes a wide variety of bulk chain & accessories (for industrial and transport applications), cargo/load control products and lifting products.

Research and development of new products continues to be a big part of SCC’s focus and success. Over the past two years, SCC has developed several patented products for the transportation industry. In addition to our new Super Z6 and Super Z8 low clearance cable chain, we have introduced SCC’s SmartBar, SecureBar, ValueBar, CurtainBar, QuikBinder Plus, and SmartCrank.

With the addition of these proprietary products, SCC’s customer base continues to expand worldwide. With customers in South America, New Zealand, Japan, Europe, and the Middle East, SCC is truly a global company.
