About SCC

SCC began in 1969, as a division of Burns Bros. Inc. (BBI), headquartered  in Portland, Oregon.  In addition to offering a complete line of traction products (both cable and link style), SCC’s product mix expanded to include a wide variety of bulk chain & accessories (for industrial and transport applications), cargo/load control products and lifting products.

In September 2011, SCC became a division of the Peerless Industrial Group (www.peerlesschain.com), headquartered in Winona, Minnesota.  Peerless is a leading U.S. manufacturer and world-wide competitor in supplying products for hardware, industrial, marine, military and retail markets.  Other divisions and brands of the Group are Peerless Chain Co., Letellier Material Handling Equipment, Acco Marine and Weissenfels USA.

SCC’s tradition of developing new products will continue and expand in the new partnership with the Peerless Group.
